Unless paid for Twitter Blue, Twitter will limit DM in your account

Twitter Blue

Twitter announced on July 15, 2023 that it will be limiting the number of direct messages (DMs) that unverified accounts can send each day. The exact limit has not been released, but it is expected to be around 1,000 DMs per day. Verified accounts and Twitter Blue subscribers will not be affected by this change.

The reason for the change is to crack down on spam and abuse on Twitter. Spammers often use DMs to send unsolicited messages to users, and this can be a major nuisance. By limiting the number of DMs that unverified accounts can send, Twitter hopes to make it more difficult for spammers to operate on the platform.

Twitter Blue is a paid subscription service that offers a variety of features, including the ability to send unlimited DMs. If you want to continue sending unlimited DMs after the change takes effect, you will need to subscribe to Twitter Blue.

The change will take effect on July 22, 2023. If you have any questions, you can visit Twitter’s help center for more information.
