Terrorists Kill 3 Soldiers in Kulgam, Security Forces Hunt for Culprits


Indian security forces are on the lookout for the terrorists who killed three soldiers in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday, May 29, 2023. The soldiers were identified as Havaldar Praveen Kumar, Naik Lokendra Singh, and Lance Naik Sameer Singh. They were part of a joint team of the Army and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) that was conducting a search operation in the area.

The terrorists opened fire on the security forces’ camp at around 3:30 am. The soldiers retaliated, but the terrorists managed to escape. The bodies of the three soldiers were recovered from the site of the encounter.

The search operation for the terrorists is still underway. The security forces have deployed additional troops in the area and are conducting cordon and search operations. The Indian Army has also issued a reward of Rs 10 lakh for information leading to the capture of the terrorists.
